Out of Hours Service

The practice uses BADGER, an emergency out of hours service, at weekends and between 18:00-08:30 during the week. You will be offered either telephone advice, the opportunity to attend a Primary Care Centre, or receive a home visit.

Please note that when you phone the emergency out of hours service, your telephone conversation may be recorded.

If you need contact the out of hours service, please call the practice, and your call will be redirected.

For the nearest minor injuries unit, please visit the Treatment Room.

Minor Surgery

Minor Surgery Services are provided at Cotmore Surgery, please contact our Reception Team for an initial telephone consultation with Dr A Long.

Extended Access

Cotmore Surgery currently offers extended opening hours on Monday evenings between 18:00-19:00 for patients registered at the practice.

Appointments must be booked in advance and are available with a range of clinicians including GPs, advanced nurse practitioners, and practice nurses.

 Weekend / Evening Appointments

Evening and weekend appointments are also available from mid-September 2018 at the Oaks Medical Centre for patients who are registered with Cotmore Surgery, as part of a government initiative and Our Health Partnership (OHP) collaborative working arrangements. Appointments must be booked in advance through Cotmore Surgery and are available:

• Monday – 18:30-20:00
• Tuesday – 18:30-20:00
• Wednesday – 18:30-20:00
• Thursday – 18:30-20:00
• Friday – 18:30-20:00
• Saturday – 09:00-13:00
• Sunday – 10:00- 13:00

Clinics will be held at the Oaks Medical Centre.
